Made from 100% Chardonnay and of Oregon’s best. Doug neither fines nor filters this wine and uses a combination of French and Oregon oak. This is a Chardonnay that is packed with toasted hazelnuts, lemon peel, apples and pears and a touch of cinnamon spice. Doug has a very deft touch with the use of oak, so folks who normally shy away from buttery Chardonnays should flock to the Brick House version. It’s no accident that Robert Parker once compared the Brick House Chardonnay to a premier cru Chassagne-Montrachet. Drink it over the next 5-7 years.
