Made from 100% Tempranillo from vines 60 to 80 years old. This is a fantastic Ribera Del Duero that shows much concentration and power. With the vintage being classified 'excellent' by the Consejo Regulador in Ribera Del Duero, the result is a lightly aged, elegant fruit-driven wine that fully expresses the local terroir in a modern style. Firm, slightly chalky, with crisp red fruits and a trace of mineral. The wine is ready now but will age gracefully over the next two years with proper cellaring. Serve at room temperature with sausage, marinated pork, and marinated meat sandwiches.
