This is a blend of eight blue-ribbon vineyard sites in the North Willamette Valley and is typically the first pinot noir to be released for the vintage. This Pinot is brimming with powerful and evocative fruit of raspberry and currant jam, higher toned spices, and a touch of vanilla and mint. Showing remarkable balance and velvety texture on the palate, this is a wine that will make you think, sip, and reach for another glass. Lange Winery - In 1987, Don and Wendy Lange left California and followed their hearts to Oregon's North Willamette Valley. Fueled by a passion for Pinot Noir and a love of the land, they founded their winery on 30 acres in the Red Hills above Dundee. Yamhill County, where Lange Winery is located, is home to most of Oregon's vineyards and wineries. It's no coincidence that some of the best examples of Pinot Noir in the world come from this area.
