2010 Seghesio Cortina Old Vine Zinfandel
Deliciously dark fruited and savory spiced. Their site specific, extreme farming practices produce a kaleidoscope of dark berry, ripe cherry and currant flavors. These attractive qualities synergize with Old Vine Zin's distinctive "of the earth" briery/anise spice tones that transcend time and exemplify typicity. This finish is lush, vibrant and long.

Seghesio Family Vineyards - In 1895, the Seghesio Family planted their first zinfandel vineyard in Sonoma County’s Alexander Valley. Today, Seghesio Family Vineyards is a collection of 400 acres of superior vineyard sites acquired over the past century. Vineyards in Alexander Valley, Russian River Valley and Dry Creek Valley were meticulously chosen by four generations of Seghesio winemakers for their diversity and capacity to bear the finest quality grapes. Today’s generation of Seghesios shares their grandfather’s passion for zinfandel with over half of their acreage dedicated to the grape.
